Re: [RC] RE:[liability and neighborhood kids?] - Belinda RomanuskiDid you know that even though a child can’t sign and be held to a release of liability that when they turn 18 they CAN come back and sue you because the statute of limitations doesn’t start until they are 18? My lawyer told me that in the end it I was told by a laywer, who is also a member of the PA Equine Council, that although this is true, if it does happen that a child upon turning 18tries to sue, a good defense lawyer will file suit against the parents because they are the ones that had the child participate in the said activity and tried to sign his/her rights away. This will usually nip the suit in the butt. Belinda =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
