Re: [RC] [RC] Horsepool for the Alabama Yellowhammer ride? - REVISED - Jody Rogers-ButtramGood luck to all of you trying to "double up" I have tried this is the past and I will say it must not be for me. I would like to be more of the "buddy" type....but don't think it is in my personality. Just ask my mother-in-law !!!! Or those that have ridden with me. You need to consider this:
Trailering together can cause problems with good friends. Someone is not on the other guys schedule, takes up too much space, always needs the bathroom, etc. Sometimes, it may be worth the price of fuel to go alone. Also, if you are wanting to learn from more experienced people, go to the ride, find some pit crews/riders that have been around the longest....and just watch what they do or don't do. If it works for them, it most likely will work for you. It is much less annoying to them (during the ride when they are busy) they to have someone asking a lot of questions. Not that they don't want to help....just during the ride is not the best time to approach them. Hit them up before and after, maybe during the dinner and spend some time talking to them then. I promise....they will ALL be helpful.
Jody and the girls....who will be there at Talladega.
