[RC] dressage saddle pad for endurance - sandy . l . holderhi Andra, You'll probably get as much comment on this as anything else (LOTS)! LOL. . . Different opinions, different horses, etc. - it boils down to what works for each horse/rider team. I had a custom made dressage saddle that worked for awhile for my horse. Unfortunately as he changed, the saddle fitter couldn't continue to make it work (the saddle). I now have a FreeForm saddle and use an EquiPedic saddle pad. We just completed our first 100 miler and although the saddle doesn't fit me like my custom made one, my horse hasn't had any issues (as he had begun to). I'd recommend you talk to folks, try a few (borrowed if you can) and see what really works (if at all possible) before you make a final investment. Oh, and try the www.bayequest.com classifieds. They always have ones for sale used, but still typically in really good form. Best of luck!
