Re: [RC] [RC] cost of rides - PaddiThat is how it would work. You get completion for the miles you finish. You can end at the 25, 50 , 75 or 100 mile. Placings and BC for 100 mile finishers only Of course the regular time limits would apply so someone did not take 20 hours to ride 25 ...lol Paddi ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nancy Mitts" <mitts_n@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, September 08, 2005 8:33 PM Subject: RE: [RC] [RC] cost of rides Paddi, Let us know how it works out. Monte has been telling me this is how rides should be for several years now. His twist is that you'd get to keep the completion for the last successful increment, thus encouraging people to try the next step. Nancy MittsI am thinking of putting on a ride next year and charging $100 for all entries. Everyone enters into the 100 and rides as far as they want. Like an elevator ride but anything short of the 100 is for miles only. Can stop at 25, 50 , 75 or ride the whole ride. Endurance Riders of Alberta sanctions our own rides so I can do that. I will sanction the 100 AERC in case others from ooutside want to come Paddi=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
