Re: [RC] politics, dog ticks, and every other kind of ticks.... - Laney HumphreyI'm definitely a multi-day rider so I can't compare them to FEI rides. I love multi-days for lots of reasons. Here are the most important:1)I love being out in wonderful wilderness places with my horses and good friends. 2)It's true that they tend to be in fairly remote places but for the extra drive time (& fuel), I get 5 days of riding instead of only one. 3)Multi-day rides are a real test of the rider's horsemanship skills since you have to ride your horse (or horses) so they can continue day after day and stay sound and happy. 4)Because of #3, the pace is slower and less frantic than many one-day rides.
