RE: [RC] politics, dog ticks, and every other kind of ticks.... - Carolyn BurgessBecause on a multi day ride, you ride the first day, you go back to camp, have dinner, socialize with friends that you only see at rides, go to sleep and get up and ride the next day. Then go back to camp, have dinner, socialized with friends, go to sleep, get up and ride again. (repeat again for as many days as the ride is). Could you, or someone, explain the differences in the FEI and multi day rides? Jo AnnFEI rides are 'International' rides, sanctioned by the FEI (www.horsesport.org) in order to provide a fair and consistent venue for Endurance riding around the world. Regardless of the host nation, all FEI Endurance rides are conducted by the same rules. Multi-day rides are just a variation (multiple days instead of one day) of the 'National' rides held here in the US. Sanctioned by AERC (www.aerc.org) to provide a fair and consistent venue for all Endurance events held in the US. Each country has their own version of a National organization and sanctioning body. Does that help? Steph =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
