I agree with Laney that used saddles can buy you better quality
sometimes, but realize that many used western types over 7 years old or so seem
to be too narrow for the horses of today ! I love my 2 specialized
saddles, & you can get them with shorter bars- and they are so quickly
adjustable ! I have fitted one for a 13 hand welsh pony that shares the saddle
w/ 2 large thoroughbreds. New they start at $1,395. I
