Ray, as I'm picturing your set-up, the flap is cinched tight up against 
the horse since it is the rigging.  Do you worry about heat build-up 
under it?  and when you say "very short girth" how short is short?  I 
use a 20" on my 14'2" horse and sometimes wish for shorter.  If you use 
shorter, where do you buy them?
