[RC] Magnesium for spooky horse? - Ed Kilpatrickhi jennifer, email me, whytrotfarmsatyahoodotcom for some in depth training instructions on how to deal with this issue. also, if you find yourself on the ground or on your horse's neck with a spook or spin, then there are some things you need to work on about staying in the saddle, i.e. weight distribution, and posture. if you are squeezing with your legs and trying to hang on, it wont work. that puts your center of gravity WAY too high. with a horse that is prone to spooking and spinning, you better get your weight on the balls of your feet, or you will go hind end over appetite.
on the lighter side, pour three cans of beer in the beet pulp, let him eat that, then go for a ride. diet doesnt affect behavior, HAH!
kat, i read your first post on this word for word, and i commend you for the information AND the way it was presented. (APPLAUSE)
