i am so sorry to hear this.i have been around george alot and i had a few chances to ride george. he was a great horse. he was not the easiest horse to ride but if you could keep your behind in the saddle he would give you a great ride. he will be greatly missed.

I am very sad to report that my wonderful, courageous, iron-willed mustang, Gorgeous George, died last night from a severe case of colic. Needless to say, I am devastated. There are many of you out there who got the chance to see him in action, so I felt the need to share.
I am just glad that I had these few years with him, but of course, regret that there will be no more. He always did everything I asked of him, and he finished every ride he ever started. From the palmetto swamps of Central Florida to the High Sierras of the Tevis Trail, he did it all.
Thanks for the memories, and thanks to lots of you out there for admiring him and encouraging us along the way. Ed Kilpatrick
