Re: [RC] RAT pulse - Steve Shaw

Traditional, Ride and Tie Assoc. sanctioned events have usually had a criteria of 72. Recently it has been up to the vets even more... and at the Championships in Libby, MT, Jim Steere set it was at 64! In doing a RAT along with an endurance event we have suggested that we keep the criteria the same, to make it easier on the vets and PR crew. Even so, I was challenged three different times about getting out without a hold at the Swanton. That just shows how well the McCray's embolded their volunteers to be tough. (Since we were only two of 70 riders I did not find it abusive.)

Steve,

My understanding is that the RAT pulse is 72.

Am I incorrect on this?
