[RC] Hurricane Katrina - rides2farYou don't get into FL with a horse without health papers. If you are on > the panhandle, Well...to be perfectly honest, if you're actually serious about controlling EIA, horses from Mississippi and Louisiana are the last ones you'd want to let slide in. And then if you're actually serious about avoiding hurricanes, FLA isn't necessarily your best refuge either, they seem to catch them going and coming. :-P The rains have hit the GA/TN line. It's coming down like pouring from a bucket outside. You guys who like to hear your horses chew...here's my version of content... 3 horses in a clean barn, which got filled to the rafters with perfect hay on Saturday. The troublesome one with a stall to himself, the sociable two under an open shed with plenty of hay, and clean water. The rain is roaring on the tin roof and they're staring out at the downpour with their ears up as if they're watching something interesting on TV. Nothing to do but chew and watch the pond overflow.
