[RC] Katrina Evac Sites and info - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Carla Lawson arabbossmare@xxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== Please check with a close fairgound area further in. Also be sure to have your horses tagged either on a halter, a neck rope, or perhaps spraypainting on the horse with orange paint of a phone number where you can be reached if you must leave the horse. Also be sure to put feed in a tight container that will be waterproof. Perhaps a cooler, garbage can. Be sure to have a good 7 day supply of water for horses as well. Do not leave horses in a barn if you expect high floodwaters. If you must leave your horses behind, contact the Emergency crews and notify them of how many horses you have left behind and discriptions. Also take any papers, photos and keep them safe if you need to identify your horse if the horse is relocated or escaped. So you will have proof. God Bless.
