Fwd: [RC] question on hauling a single horse in a stock trailer w/ no divider - Ellen ZawadaI have hauled in a stock trailer without a divider many times. I have found that the horses prefer to be untied and they always turn around and ride backwards. I remembering reading an article about trailering a few years back and they mentioned most horses will turn around and ride backwards if given the option. Th only thing that would make me think twice is if it was a horse that rushed out and could possibly escape before you had a good handle on the situatuion.

Start your day with Yahoo! - make it your home page --- Begin Message ---so how would you haul a single horse in a stock trailer that doesn't have a divider? do you just use it as a box stall and let her pick her position? this is not long distance hauling we're talking about. probably no longer than 2 hours, at least for now. thanks! marta -- god created women so his horses would survive =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
