Don't bet on it. Last year we went to Tennessee with two horses to get 
away. Hurricane Jeane was headed away from us.
Jean turns back and was going to end up right on top of our place. We 
took off on Saturday night at 6 PM to get home before the storm hit to 
take care of our other guys. We come on the ag station at about 1:30 or 
so. The sap suckers were open and you had to have health papers (which 
we did) to get in.

You don't get into FL with a horse without health papers. If you are on 
the panhandle, just go up into AL/GA and drive parallel to I10 to get 
around the ag station on I10 and you'll be fine.
