Re: [RC] question on hauling a single horse in a stock trailer w/ no divider - Barbara McCraryWe haul our horses in a stock trailer always. That's all we have. They just walk in and we tie them to the side rails. They can't turn around or dominate each other, but they can move their feet and bodies a bit and are very comfortable. They routinely slant-load themselves. We have hay bags in front of them, and when we stop, we offer a bucket of water (which they never take.)Barbara ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marta Kozlowska" <martank@xxxxxxxxx> To: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, August 28, 2005 8:47 AM Subject: [RC] question on hauling a single horse in a stock trailer w/ no divider so how would you haul a single horse in a stock trailer that doesn't have a divider? do you just use it as a box stall and let her pick her position? this is not long distance hauling we're talking about. probably no longer than 2 hours, at least for now. thanks! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
