Don't know about the Tundra but in 1991 I hauled a 15.3h horse, hay, portable corral 
and gear over the Sierras from La Honda, CA, to the Derby Ditch in Fernley, NV, and 
back and averaged 20 mpg... with a V6 Toyota 1-ton.
