Re: [RC] CTRs a thumbs down....I think - Truman PrevattWhile it's "not in the rules", I've seen vets ask a rider to trot in a circle to make sure they are 'not seeing something.'My experience has been that you can feel a slight lameness from the saddle - especially on curves before you see it. Then there is the horse that keeps throwing you off one diagonal (who doesn't normally do this) and the horse that normall takes both leads only taking one is probably developing a problem and you can detect it from the saddle long before you see it. Of course you have to be honest with yourself to detect it.
