Gosh, I guess I'll quite bellyaching.  Out here in the back of beyond
where the prices tend to be a lot higher than what we can get at truck
stops along the freeway, we are paying $2.57 for regular unleaded and
$2.79 for diesel.  It always frosts me that the diesel prices are
higher, since it costs less to refine it, but sounds like we're not
doing as badly here as many other places.  

To put this in perspective, my husband still spends a bit of time in his
native Denmark, and he reports prices there the equivalent of $8 to $10
per gallon....
