I am shopping with my family for a motorhome. The one we are looking at has a Ford F450 econoliner v10 chassis and 31 foot total motorhome. can a 2 horse trailer be safely towed with this? I dont recall seeing this done, but my fiance doesnt see why we couldnt? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, lisa I used a Ford-based Class C motorhome pulling a two-horse trailer for ten years and many thousands of miles, with no problems. I did have an extended tongue on the trailer, so that I could back the trailer to nearly ninety-degrees angle without any part of the trailer hitting the motorhome. Make sure that the hitch on the motorhome is beefed-up with plenty of steel going to the frame, or it will soon bend. A hitch designed for pulling a car on a dolly is not strong enough. -- Joe Long jlong@xxxxxxxx http://www.rnbw.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
