so, tom, i take it by your response that you dont have any information about 
the function of the horse's gall bladder and how it relates to metabolic issues 
during strenuous excercise?  i wonder where i might could find such research?

If I were you, the first place I'd start is by searching Equine gall bladder on 
Pubmed. here, I'll do it for you--hang on a minute...

Only 3 papers, with no "equine" in the title. Do horses even have a gall 
bladder? If so, nobody's ever written a paper about it. Maybe there's a direct 
gut connection rather than a storage facility.
