Just chill. It takes intelligence to appreciate or tolerate sarcasm,
wit, and humour and none at all to be offended by it. Ivers has always
had some good things to say, and right or wrong there's a good deal
that can be learned from him. Including how to put up with insults in
the course of a discussion without becoming distracted by them.

And there's always your delete key. Don't like him, don't read his
posts. Or, like some folks do, take your toys and go home and pout
until he leaves again. Whatever your call, make it for yourself, not
everyone. If he were spewing something truly inappropriate, such as
porn or posted nothing but personal attacks, the attempts to remove
him would seem justified. As it is, they merely seem vengeful.

Besides, if everyone wouldn't stir around like a nest of stingless
hornets at a bit of name-calling, it probably wouldn't be nearly as
much fun for him.  On the flip side, if more folks would discuss the
facts or evidence relating to the discussion, instead of making it an
endless ad hominem fuss, it would benefit everyone.

And as this adds nothing to any endurance related discussion, I will
reprimand myself thoroughly and go riding.
