[RC] CTR rules. - Tracey Smith

Precisely Ed...it is a competitive trail RIDE...not a run. I don't claim to
know the rationale behind each and every CTR rule (or even agree with them
all) but that is one that makes sense to me...for precisely the reason Ed
mentioned.  
Thanks for answering it first...sometimes my employer actually expects me to
work...how rude huh? Oh well, it pays the feed bill.

diane, it is so that your horse does relatively the same amount of work as
the other horses. for instance, if a rider decided to walk in the last two
miles, as opposed to riding in, that horse would have an edge in heart rate
recovery. ed
