Re: [RC] Lifting the Trailer - Karen SullivanI'm a bit confused about the gooseneck problems..... I mean....I thought I had the daddy of all "high triucks", a one ton Dodge dually with 4W drive. I always had to have a substantial drop for bumper pull trailers. When I bought the Silverlite GN last year, I did ask the dealer who was several states away if I was going to have a problem with bed height. She did say she didn't think so and I had a standard GN hitch (turnover ball) installed, then drove up to Washington. Sure enough, trailer lowered onto my truck bed the absolute exact height. Then the dealer showed me it even had more adjustment in the gooseneck.... So again, someone either has a truck (which sounded like a standard truck) higher than mine or other trailer manufacturers are not giving enough lift in the gooseneck.... But Kat is right also....you can't just go raising the front....whole trailer might need a lift to be level..... Mine didn't. Guess I was lucky Karen =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
