Oh, yeah. Forgot about freezing rain (she thumps herself on the side of the head). Just ANOTHER thing that I don't miss about Canada. LOL

Well, actually it can be. We had a bit of that earlier this week.


What happens is the air is warm up high and it's cold near the ground. The
warm clouds emit rain. When it hits the ground, it freezes.


Those freezing rains can make quite a skating rink of everything.

Thank goodness someone turned on the ceiling fan and it warmed up down here.
One night I went to bed and the outside temperature was freezing outside.
When I awoke at 4:30 am, it was 58 F. Now I wish I'd paid more attention
during the mud discussion.
