RE: [RC] Feeding in Extremely Cold Weather - Susan JonesI'm sorry but I don't think that it could be -10 C and raining because 0 C is the freezing point of water. There must be something out of whack with these temps. Well, actually it can be. We had a bit of that earlier this week. What happens is the air is warm up high and it's cold near the ground. The warm clouds emit rain. When it hits the ground, it freezes. Those freezing rains can make quite a skating rink of everything. Thank goodness someone turned on the ceiling fan and it warmed up down here. One night I went to bed and the outside temperature was freezing outside. When I awoke at 4:30 am, it was 58 F. Now I wish I'd paid more attention during the mud discussion.
