[RC] lost horses - Ed Kilpatricksue, some horses can survive being lost out in the woods, some cant. some are more adept at tracking by scent than others are. in general, a horse's sense of smell is very good. i dont really know of any "lassie come home" stories with horses, but there probably are some. ed
