I have
used a biothane girth from Sportack on my Skyhorse saddle for about 10 yrs and
have never had even the slightest indication of girth
soreness...

Some more ideas, use vaseline, pull the legs
forward to stretch out the skin, put the girth back if possible. I too
had girth sores and I never use to. I could not use a neoprene girth,
but a girth cover helped immensely. Vaseline also helped, putting the
saddle in the right place also helped. It didn't matter what kind of
girth I used, my mare got girth sores. I finally tracked the problem
down to my riding. I was swinging too much. Eventually I solved
the problem for good by using a different saddle. So keep playing until
you find something that works. Jeanie
