Some more ideas, use vaseline, pull the legs
forward to stretch out the skin, put the girth back if possible. I too had
girth sores and I never use to. I could not use a neoprene girth, but a
girth cover helped immensely. Vaseline also helped, putting the saddle in
the right place also helped. It didn't matter what kind of girth I used,
my mare got girth sores. I finally tracked the problem down to my
riding. I was swinging too much. Eventually I solved the problem for
good by using a different saddle. So keep playing until you find something
