[RC] Ford trucks and Lemon Laws - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Cathryn Whitaker cwhithare@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== I have been living a lemon nightmare for the past 2 months and thought I could share something with my fellow riders which might save them many nights of sleep and thousands of dollars. We currently have a F350 diesel with major engine trouble. This vehicle would qualify for Lemon Law repurchase if it were an F250. Under GA lemon laws and many other state lemon laws if a truck has a towing capacity of over 10,000 lbs. it does not qualify for Lemon Laws. News to me. In other words, if you purchase a truck that is big enough to tow your horse trailer loaded and it turns out to be a lemon. Quess what, it is yours until death or trade do you part. Ford Motor Co. has pretty much washed their hands of this whole mess and if you think customer satisfaction is at the top of their list, think again. My husband and I have bought 7 new Fords in 19 years from the same dealer and they won't even return our calls. Better get Ram tough of Like a Rock. If you have a solution, please feel free to email me.
