For the first time ever I have a cost number for heating a stock tank.  We 
had Wendy's mare alone to wean her foal.  The 100 gal tank was on its own 
meter.  For Dec 15 to Jan 14, I was charged $13.94.  Here in the Bitterroot 
it is relatively warm, but the tank was not insulated or partly covered.\
