[RC] barnsour? - Ed Kilpatrickjulie, you are on the right track with the lateral flexion work and one rein stops. it takes a lot of it. its ok to work him in a place that he is comfortable with until you get him to the point where he is much softer and willing to yield to you. from what you describe, spot still has lots of tension and hasnt learned to relax and rely on you yet.
