[RC] Stallion Question - apleg8'nKim et al: In Oregon we have places dedicated as "Open Range" Signs on the public roads tell you when you are driving in Open Range territory. This means any animal deemed "Livestock" by the Ag Dept. running on Open Range has the right of way. Should they wander out on the roads and you hit one, the driver of the vehicle is totally liable. However....Stallions are never allowed to run free on open range. If you own a stallion and it gets out even in Open Range and causes an accident the owner is still always liable for damages. amber rackinfool www.applegaitnendurancehorses.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
