It's a good chance that this will happen. While it may not work for all 
horses with this problem, but my farrier solved this problem with NBS 
shoes. It took about a year but now my horse that had the problem 
doesn't have it any more. I am sure if I stopped using the NBS shoes it 
would come back, however.
