[RC] [RC] Sweet Tooth - Picky Eater - Dreamweaver

> I knew that would be too easy to work. Anyone have any suggestions on a feed that might interest my "sweet tooth" boy that is still based on fiber?? Or should I just cave in and feed him what ever he'll eat?

I looked and saw that he's done two LD rides. Don't worry too much about a horse not eating well there. Try a longer distance or do a multiday, that's where they will really learn.

Some horses pick it up right away, and others don't, and it doesn't matter what distance they start with. I have always felt that the biggest mistake I made with Rocky was in taking him on LD rides, where he not only did not learn anything he needed to be a really good endurance horse, but he learned a lot of the wrong things, and in actuality caused it to take a lot more time to get him to be a good endurance horse than had I just simply waited and started with longer distances to begin with. Taking him on his first 2 day ride of 50 miles each day sure did transform him into a 'good eater'.
