Re: [RC] tack-up problems - Zephyr ArabiansTerri, I haven't followed this entire thread, but I have to agree with those who say this mare is likely experiencing pain or remembering pain. You say her saddle fits, but ... I have a mare who never used to stand still to be saddled. She didn't behave like yours, but she'd fidget. Her saddle appeared to fit just fine & she did several LD rides & even a couple 50s with all As on her back. Then, after those couple 50s she developed some white hairs on her back, so the saddle *was* indeed pinching her. She is apparently just tough and never displayed any pain. The only indication she was giving me was that fidgeting during saddling.
