I've had my own horses and done a lot of my own health care for them for 40+ years, but I would not run a gasonastric tube or Iv by myself. My wording was "drench"--which is no more complicated than administering electrolytes or dewormers by mouth with a syringe. One uses a large dose syringe, and simply administers the stuff orally.
