Re: [RC] Secrets to Hydration??? help...... - Laney HumphreyDon't forget e'lytes for the rider! I use Gookinaid. Oops, that's the original name, it has a new name but it's easy to identify at Australian Connection. Gatoraid and other grocery store sports drinks don't have enough electrolytes, just sugar.Laney Karla Watson wrote: I have a bit of a hydration problem with myself. I do feel a tad bit sick at the end of 50s. Classic signs of dehydration. I want to move up to 75s and next year, 100s. Can't do that until I get this thing licked. I've trained just about everything....but I'm sure ridecampers know some tricks, right? Also, I am the newsletter editor for our local Pacific Northwest Endurance Riders association and want to do an article on hydrating the rider, since this seems to be a common problem many have especially going into the summer months. So....please help me write it and help me feel better at the end of rides. I'm sure many will want to hear these tried and true tricks, so try to post to the group.
