But you can't track earthqukes for up to 14 days out in the Atlantic as 
they move, with tracks updated every 6 hours - three hours as the get 
close to land. You can't see satellite images of them as they get bigger 
and bigger. That's the wonderful part about hurricances - you can watch 
them come from a long way off.

I forgot about hurricanes - we had four last year, hell we might get six 
this year. If you want to move to a warmer climate Texas is much better. 
If you don't want to drown in humidity - California is great. Who 
worries about pansy earthquakes anyway. ;-)
