It is NOT. North TX, up around Dallas, is not nearly as humid at the more southern areas. As I had mentioned in my previous post. It is a BIG state, and has a huge variety of what it has to offer. We have over 75 miles of marked trails up here in the LBJ Grasslands, about and hour from Dallas. Give us an idea of what part of the state you are considering moving to, and then some can give more detailed information.
