Re: [RC] Kill clover? - heidiAnother thing about clover is that (I hear) it can cause photosensitivity in some horses, resulting in horrible sunburn and even liver problems. My own horse, Shahtahr, has a big bald patch on his nose, where he used to have a white blaze - I bought him that way. He was kept on 80 acres of clover and alfalfa for most of his life, and my vet said that could have been why he burned so severely that the hair never grew back. :( Maybe Heidi can elaborate on this, if it's true or not? Yep, photosensitivity is an issue with some clovers, too...
