Yes, heidi, and this is the critical point that is such an outrage - there
have been horses in the past whose blood was in question. These horses are not
in question - they are NOT pure - they are PARTBREDS. But then the the current
market system for Arabians seem to take pleasure in promoting partbreds at the
expense of purebreds, unlike other purebred organizations. It makes me now TRULY
think about whether I want to continue to bred PB Arabians, and I most CERTAINLY
will never engage in the costlier ends of the AHA programs - Sweeps for starters
which I have always felt was a vast money pit for all but a handful of halter or
EP horses. How pathetic it all is.
