RE: [RC] Torsion Treeless Saddle and thanks - Magers, Cassandra

Patsy,
I had a demo new Torsion for a 10 day ride--very nice.  You can contact www.gotreeless.com and try one.  I had one horse who went from very laid back to very energetic.  I don't know if she just liked the feel of the saddle or if it was too much.  Another horse who doesn't like any changes bucked with it, and my number one horse really seemed to extend his stride out.  Since then I found a used Torsion and bought it.  I have only had two longer trailing rides.  It seems to give me a little bit of a lower back ache.  I think this is from using new muscles and moving more with the horse.  I really like it so far.  I do also have concerns for my horses spine; because he is very high withered.  Currently I'm using a skito pad, and I'm not having any issues.  But I keep wondering if their are better choices???

Subject: [RC] Torsion Treeless Saddle and thanks

Thanks to all who answered my treeless saddle question.

Any opinions on the Torsion Treeless saddle?  I have only seen them in pictures but they look very comfortable for the rider.  Any personal experiences would be appreciated.
