My entire life experience with tornados is from watching the movie "Twister" which I have seen a dozen times. <BG> In the movie, there is a lot of flying debris on all sides of the tornado, sometimes at great distance, which is very similar to the flying debris we get in our storms down here. I still think a horse is better off being able to see debris coming and using his natural instinct to run from it, than being trapped in a barn where he cannot see what's coming (only hear it) and cannot run, which must cause an unnatural and unpleasant state of fear. -- Glenda R.
