I found it very painful reading Johns letter. A great guy and a very fierce 
contestant.  Race of champions in Colorado he almost pulled off the upset of 
the decade. He led the race for 93 miles only to be pulled.  I watched him as 
Becky rode out of that vet check to victory, so close but yet so far.  He is a 
great friend, and one hellava guy....LL
