I buy basic tights from Trailrite for a whopping $15. Wear them in the summer solo or with full chaps in the fall, spring, or as liners under jean sin the winter. I guess after 20 years of racing bicycles in tight spandex shorts tights-wearing causes me no angst. If I can walk into some hillbilly gas station half way thru a 50 mile bike ride wearing bright spandex top & bottom to buy some gatorade boucning down the trail in stretchy cotton tights is no big deal. Heck I sometimes wear full english chaps over my tights and sing "Y-M-C-A".......... Jon
