Re: [RC] Anyone use "regular" English stirrups instead of EZ-rides? - Diane TrefethenKaren Casemier wrote: I'm just wondering if there is a good middle ground somewhere - something that will give me a little more comfort without sacraficing my position. I have been using Bob Foster's stirrups for almost 15 years [not the exact same set mind you :) ] on my Stubben Rex. I started endurance with English stirrups and my feet were MIGHTILY grateful when I switched. These stirrups are constructed with a material that has flex, nylon I believe. I like to ride slightly forward with feet UNDER me. You can see them at: http://www.skito.net Click on Sensation Bareback Pad I think they cost $70 plus shipping. I don't know if this is the only place you can get them. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
