Just had a call from Joe Harris, ride manager of Longstreet's Charge. He
said they're cancelling the ride due to problems with road access to the
top of the mountain. I believe they sanctioned banking on the WMA's plan
to have the road situation streightened out in time but it didn't happen.
The trails are still very open to horses, it's right of way access to the
top that's the problem and it's not worth the risk of not being able to
evacuate horses from the vet check by trailer.

Also, for those of you who know Joe, his mother died a few weeks ago, and
now he lost his father this week. Both deaths were expected, but that
doesn't make it less of a blow. Remember him in your prayers.
