[RC] Standardbreds and Arab Standardbred Crosses in Endurance - Carolyn Burgess

Myself and two girl friends compete with Standardbreds
in endurance/CTR.  They do quite well.  I ride middle
of the pack and one of my friends regularly top tens
(50's).  I just bought a 4 y.o. Standardbred mare who
is my 100 mile prospect.  Earl Baxter has
Standardbred/Arab crosses and does quite nicely with
them.

Standardbreds are very, very tough and have alot of
heart, and compete quite well in this sport.
