here is a waterford if the link works. that isn't what I have.

I'm curious to know if they're the same, given the price difference.
the 'rotating copper ball' bit, bends, it has a joint inside each ball.,
it's hard to tell from the pictures.  Does the waterford do that?

I just know how much my horses seem to love it.  it is pretty flexible and
has a lot of bend, but not enough to poke or pinch the way a regular joined
bit will.

I'm not sure, but I think the difference between a loose ring and an eggbutt
are the level of sensitivity to the horse.,and eggbutt being somewhat
softer.  someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I found Waterford Bits at vtosaddlery . com and saddleshop . com.
It looks like there are three variation of waterford bits: loose ring

snaffle, hunter dee, and eggbutt.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THESE THREE?
